GCC is looking for a Sales Manager to promote GreenCircle growth and development, develop and maintain client relationships, and expand GreenCircle sales to existing clients and new markets.

Position Overview:?

The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for increasing GCC's revenue by developing new client relationships through new product certifications, as well as maintaining existing client relationships. In order to do that, hands-on knowledge of our certifications is a must. The SM will work in conjunction with our Administrator and Certification Analysts, who collect manufacturing data, conduct initial data analyses, and perform on-site evaluations.

Responsibilities:

1. Gain a thorough understanding and functional knowledge of GCC processes, procedures and certification services, enabling you to knowledgeably and successfully represent GreenCircle and market GCC services
2. Build strong customer relationships with new and existing customer base
3. Development and execute business development strategies directed at current clients and new markets
4. Facilitate cross-sales revenue development
5. Develop and implement brand recognition strategy and support marketing efforts
6. Provide technical assistance through understanding of manufacturing process and supply chains
7. Ensure quality control and accuracy of records
8. Estimate projects and prepare client proposals

Qualifications:?

Candidate Profile:

The Sales Manager candidate should have excellent people skills and enjoy developing relationships with clients. Initiative, follow-through and a demonstrated sales ability are key components to this position. Knowledge of manufacturing and sustainability/sustainable products is preferred. Must be well organized and be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients, peers and associates. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to think on both a micro and macro level.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in: Business, Science and/or Engineering?
• 3-5 years of demonstrated successful sales experience, preferably in the environmental or sustainability field
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and respond to demands within a progressive business environment
• Desire to produce high-quality, accurate work
• Self-starter with the ability to learn on the job
• Proficiency in English, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong computer skills - proficiency in Excel with a focus on data management
• Ability to travel (occasional)
