Little Bohemia 80th
Traverse City ? Little Bohemia, 540 W. Front St., will celebrate its 80th year in business with a party from 3 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, Nov. 21.
The celebration will include free appetizers, drink specials and live music by The Accidentals, Zax Watson, Billy Strings and the Ron Getz Trio.
There also will be a 1930s Best Dressed Contest.
Shop in pajamas
Glen Arbor ? Patrons are encouraged to wear their PJs for Glen Arbor's Pajama Party from 5 to 7 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, when many local merchants will open their doors for holiday shopping.
Silent holiday shorts
Acme ? The Music House Museum on U.S. 31 North will wrap up its Silent Film Series with four classic holiday silent shorts.
The films will be shown at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24.
Detroit Red Wings organist Dave Calendine will provide accompaniment on the Wurlitzer organ.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $5 for students. Reservations are recommended.

Gallery open house
Bier Art Gallery will host its annual Holiday Open House/Art Demonstrations and the third Annual Ornament Show.
The open house and demonstrations will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24. The ornament show will continue through the holiday season.
Bier Gallery, in the red and white schoolhouse on U.S. 31 south of Charlevoix, is open daily through the holidays. For details, call 547-2288.
Onekama Art Fair
Onekama ? The Onekama Art Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Onekama Farr Center on M-22.

Traverse City ? The St. Andrews Society will hold a dinner meeting at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at Sleder's Family Tavern, 717 Randolph St.

Festival of Trees
Benzonia ? Habitat for Humanity of Benzie County will host its Festival of Trees at the Benzie Area Historical Museum, 6941 Traverse Ave.
Festival hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. It features 50 locally decorated wreaths and trees, which will be sold by silent auction to benefit local Habitat projects. Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory" will be read at 5:30 p.m. Saturday by Steve Elrick of the Benzie County Players.
Admission is free, but cash donations placed in the box by the door will be split between Benzie Area Habitat for Humanity and the Benzie Area Historical Museum.
Holiday welcome
Frankfort ? Frankfort will herald the start of the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 24.
The Holly Berry Art & Crafts Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Frankfort-Elberta High School, with more than 100 exhibitors. Lunch will be served by the Frankfort girls' softball team.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will listen to Christmas wishes and pass out candy canes at the Sleeping Bear Inn from noon to 2 p.m. and free horse-drawn carriage rides will be available.
The day will close with Frankfort's tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. at Rotary Park. Free doughnut holes and hot chocolate will be available.

Park will sparkle
Bear Lake ? Opening night festivities for Bear Lake's Sparkle in the Park are Saturday, Nov. 24, at Hopkins Park Campground.
Activities start at 6 p.m. with a free tailgate chili dinner. From 6:30 to 8 p.m., Santa and his helpers will visit with children at Toyland Bear Village. Parking is available on Bear Lake's main streets.
Sparkle in the Park will be open from 5 to 11 p.m. nightly through Jan. 1. Admission is free, but a donation box is available near Toyland Bear Lake. Contributions will help buy materials for 2013. For details, contact Pauline Jaquish, 342-7285 or pj646@centurytel.net.
