DIY Wooden Tablet Handles for Those Who Need a Little More Grip

DIY Wooden Tablet Handles for Those Who Need a Little More GripPerhaps you are buying a tablet for a child or you have a problem with tablets slipping out of your grasp. You could buy or make a fabric tablet case but if you have basic carpentry skills you can can also make comfortable wooden grips using scrap wood, two dowels, and screws.

Instructables user Twicewidowed wanted to build handles to make his tablet easier to use while resting in his lap watching TV while relaxing in an easy chair. He milled a groove into two pieces of scrap hardwood for the rounded tablet edges to properly fit, drilled two ?-inch holes in those grips, and attached two ?" dowels with wood screws.

Depending on your tablet layout you may also need to make a few extra cuts to have access to ports and speakers. See more photos and step-by-step instructions at the source link below.
